Dear Reader, Happy New Year and Happy Black History Month. I am so happy to curate this new space for creativity, a space that is both meaningful and impactful for me and those reading.
For those who are unfamiliar with me are welcome! I’m artisself, a multifaceted artist and creative based in Massachusetts. I’ve been dedicated to my artistic practice for six years, centering fluidity in my creativity. I experiment with abstraction, collage, and acrylic painting, combining intuitive and intentional approaches in artistry.
Over these last six years I've spent time contemplating what it truly means to be an artist. The full answer to that question remains unanswered because of the complexity and depth of artistry, one answer remains is that a lot of artistry is rooted in connection and storytelling. I’m launching this blog not just as an extension of my work, but as a space to share my journey more openly.
